The complex includes many items, of which the two most important items were handed over ahead of schedule, after only nearly 10 months of construction, which are Kim Quy Exhibition House and the outdoor exhibition area. The remaining items such as the permanent exhibition center, the international standard conference and wedding center… are being completed according to the requirements of the Steering Committee and will be handed over to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on July 15, 2025.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized: This is a project serving an event of great significance in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day. *World-class and regional exhibition center

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung affirmed: Right from the start of construction, the Vietnam Exhibition Center was expected to become a world-class and regional center. The center was designed with a unique idea, imbued with Vietnamese identity, bearing the symbol of the Golden Turtle God, a story in the national legend, associated with the land rich in revolutionary traditions of the thousand-year-old capital.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that for the Center to come into operation, it requires operating procedures, operating regulations, personnel… and many other tasks that need to be done methodically. In the immediate future, the Vietnam Exhibition Center must be put into operation on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country, to organize an exhibition of the country’s socio-economic achievements with the theme “Radiant Vietnam – the journey of 80 years of independence, freedom and happiness”.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has designed the identity system and functional zones, with both outdoor and indoor exhibitions. These zones are divided into vertical and horizontal sections of history. The highlight is to reflect the spirit that, over the past 80 years, under the leadership of the Party, the economic, social, cultural, security, and defense sectors have achieved glorious achievements.

Along with the achievements of the Ministries and Branches, the highlight of the exhibition is the 34 focal points on the S-shaped strip of land corresponding to the 34 provinces and cities that the National Assembly and the Government have just resolved. After the handover ceremony, the Exhibition Organizing Committee will work with a reputable international consulting unit to implement; ensuring that the exhibition from concept to implementation is connected and operated effectively.

The exhibition of socio-economic achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day will be held from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the main area of Kim Quy Exhibition House, a symbolic work associated with the legend of the Kim Quy god of the land of talented people in Co Loa.
